The sun’s out, the doors are open, and summer’s in full swing. GAPP is buzzing like never before. Upon the 8th floor of Hotel Casa, you’ll find the perfect spot for a laid-back date, stunning city views, or just a cold beer and a tasty bite.

High above the city, my green rooftop garden is the perfect hideaway with stunning views over Amsterdam. When the weather’s playing nice, the doors are wide open. Raise a glass to life and settle into a cosy corner. Choose from over 30+ (local) craft beers or sip on a summery cocktail alongside some proper Amsterdam-style snacks.

At GAPP, we celebrate good old Mokum. No need to go over the top – just good vibes and good food. And if you ask me, no proper hangout is complete without a decent snack. On the menu: snacks, salads, BBQ, and burgers.

We went to Gapp because we were staying at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The view is quite nice, and the rooftop is very pleasant. The staff is welcoming, and the menu is perfect. We had drinks and a platter which was very good. We recommend the parmesan fries with truffle sauce: excellent!

ABOUT GAPP

GAPP begins with our biggest buddy; Gabbe Scheltema, born and raised in Amsterdam. He was one of the founders of Hotel Casa and remained involved with CASA until his very end. This legend lives on in GAPP, the green rooftop terrace of Hotel Casa.

Gabbe also gives GAPP its name (gap, gabber means 'friend' in Amsterdam slang) and it's love for Mokum.
