My new rooftop garden is open
My story
GAPP begins with our biggest buddy; Gabbe Scheltema, born and raised in Amsterdam. He was one of the founders of Hotel Casa and remained involved with CASA until his very end. This legend lives on in GAPP, the green rooftop terrace of Hotel Casa.
Gabbe also gives GAPP its name (gap, gabber means 'friend' in Amsterdam slang) and it's love for Mokum.
GAPP has been the go-to spot for your favorite Amsterdammer for years. A staple in Mokum, now refreshed with a vibrant upgrade ready for whatever comes next.
With a brand-new pergola, I’m now open not only when the sun shines but also when the wind blows or the rain falls. This means you can enjoy the Mokum vibe any time of the day, high above the city, with a drink in hand and your Gappies around you.
Food & Drinks
At GAPP, we celebrate good old Mokum. No need to go over the top – just good vibes and good food. And if you ask me, no proper hangout is complete without a decent snack. Check out what’s on the menu.
